LULAC IL Education Council 5238 is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to advancing education equity for Latinos in Illinois. Founded in 2002 by Caroline Sanchez Crozier, our council is composed of educators, advocates, and leaders committed to increasing access to higher education, expanding Latino digital leadership, and strengthening civic engagement.
As part of the nation’s oldest Latino civil rights organization—LULAC—we proudly advocate for equity, representation, and opportunity across all levels of leadership, technology, and education. Together, we build pathways to success, one student and one community at a time.
